A retreat asks a lot of you. What comes after asks something too — time to let it settle.
Respiro sits on the same mountain as Mandali, 2.7 kilometres away — a five-minute drive, or half an hour on foot through the woods. Close enough to arrive without effort, far enough that the silence is entirely your own.
Many of our guests come for a few days on either side of their retreat. Some to arrive slowly, unhurried, already in the mountains before the first morning. Others to stay on afterwards, when the world is not quite ready to be re-entered at full speed.

There is no television. The kitchen is fully equipped, the water from the tap is mountain water, and the mornings face southeast — the sun comes up over the lake while you are still holding your coffee.
Respiro is independent of Mandali — we are simply neighbours on the same mountain. For retreat dates and bookings, please contact the centre directly.
